A former prize winner in The Lord Mayor of London's writing competition, Christa went on to include magazine articles, short stories and web content among her writing successes. Her story writing has been featured on both BBC and Channel 4 Television websites.
An expert contributor to HealthTalk.com writing about living with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis
She remains a member of The Writing Bridge.org an online international creative writing workshop set up by American writer and copy editor JoAnn Moss and Canadian author Linda Gallant-Potts.
Christa is a member of HWW and takes part in performance reading events across London throughout the year.
Originally from Hertfordshire, Christa currently writes in London where she lives with her husband and an ever growing collection of books.
The creative crafter:
Following an accident in 2006, and temporarily unable to maintain her writing at the same level, Christa sought another outlet for her creative energy and ventured along several creative avenues...finally discovering a talent for paper crafting.
Christa now makes and sells unique hand crafted greetings cards. At present 50% of the proceeds from the sale of her cards goes directly to support the work of Headway North London (registered charity no. 1115801) supporting those affected by brain injury. Christa lives with her soulmate husband in London. Forced to accept changes brought about by the accident she strives daily to be the best she can be and to enjoy each day ...one at a time....Love, Laughter, cake and ice cream make the world go round.
